Columbia River
We are doing our fishing from the comfort of a 25-foot North River Boat. For sturgeon we are using bait and putting it on the bottom where we know the sturgeon are eating. For salmon and steelhead we are anchored up in strategic spots that we know fish are moving through all day and setting out spinners and wobblers. Fishing with us is made easy and comfortable so everyone young and old can do it. We are out to have fun so you can relax from the hectics of life.

Sturgeon
The Columbia River has the largest numbers of white sturgeon in the world. In the spring and fall is our prime time for keeper size sturgeon. A keeper has to be between 42 and 60 inches and they are great to eat. We will have many days that we hook up more then 30-40 fish a day. In mid May the giant trophy sturgeon come up the Columbia RIver to eat shad and to spawn and that is right where we are going to be. These trophy sturgeon will average 200-400 pounds and will make a video you will show your friend often. We will average 4-8 hook ups a day.

Salmon
We have several runs of salmon a year on the Columbia River. March and April will start our spring Chinook salmon run. Then the end of June through July we will be catching our summer king salmon then in August through October we are catching the fall Chinook salmon. The Columbia River is full of fishing opportunity and salmon fishing is our legacy.

Steel Head
Steelhead are ocean run rainbow trout with an attitude. Our summer run steelhead fishing is nothing but action. We will do our steelhead fishing in July and august. We usually do this while salmon fishing. When that rod goes down it's no telling what is on the end of it.

Walleye
The Columbia River is no doubt going to put out the next world record walleye. It is not uncommon to hear of walleye that is caught to be in the mid teens and a 15 pound walleye is a trophy anywhere. In our area we like fishing walleye in the summer and fall months while the river is a little lower and a bit clearer. We use different methods catching walleye. We use bottom walkers with a spinner and worm harness, we troll plugs and we also do some jigging but whatever we use we are a bite away form a world record.

Shad
In the Columbia River we get a huge run of American shad. These shad average 2-4 pounds and as soon as your lure is in the water you will get hooked up again. The Columbia River will average around 5 million shad a year and they just about all come up in a 2-month time. This makes for a great kids fishery or if you are getting your crab bait for the year.

"Once again thanks for the great sturgeon adventure. You know what you're talking about, you know what you're doing and you know how to work with the client. Great Job!"
